Upload Your FDD

FranchiseSoft’s FDD Management feature allows you to upload your Franchise Disclosure Document into  the system directly for easy electronic delivery and tracking.

1. On the left-side navigation, click Admin > Sales > FD Setup > FDD Management.
   
2. To upload your Franchise Disclosure Document, click Add New.
3. Enter all pertinent document details in the fields provided:
   Document Name
   Download Limit – Refers to the number of times your lead can download the FDD. c. Start and End Dates – Refers to your FDD’s Effective Dates. These are required fields. This ensures that only your current FDD will be available to send to a lead. 
   Country and State – Refers to the Country and Registration States. This also ensures that  the correct FDD is sent to your Franchise Candidate based on their location.
   FDD File - Select the correct FDD that you would like to upload by clicking on Select File
   Notification Days – Refers to the 14 Day Waiting Period from the day the FDD is  delivered to the Franchise Candidate. 
   FDD Document Receipt – This is where you can add your Item 23 Receipt Page that your  Franchise Candidate can electronically sign. Note: This is a type-in signature. You will have placeholders available to use in the template to pull from information provided to you by the candidate:
4. Other Templates to set-up: 
   Lead Owner Template (required) – Refers to the email the Sales Representative  receives once a candidate has downloaded and signed the FDD.
   FDD Wait Period Template (required) – Refers to the email the Sales Representative receives once the wait period has been reached. 
   FDD Form Header and Footer (optional) – Create custom header and footer that  displays to your candidate when the FDD is delivered.
5. Do not forget to Submit to save your setup.
