Creating Territories

In franchise app you can create territories for your sales as well as for your franchisees. To create territories you will need to have created regions first. 


  1. Scroll down this menu on the left hand side to the admin section. 
  2. Scroll down again to franchisee setup 
  3. Scroll down to click on territories. 
  4. That will display a page that lists all of your existing territories. On this page it will display the name, the region that they apply to, what type of territory it is.
  5. To create a new territory, click the green add new button in the top corner 
  6. On the next screen you will choose a region from your database. For example. if you have a region set up for USA and Canada.
  7. Next you will choose territory type. You can set this territory to be divided by states, cities or zip codes.
  8. If you choose states, you will see a list if all of the states that have not yet been selected as part of an existing territory.
  9. Too add states to this territory, simply clicking on them will move them over.
  10. Once you are finished moving the applicable states, you can click the submit button to save your work.
