Add a New Contact

This will let you create a new basic contact, vendor, employee, broker or area rep user. 

This process will allow you to manually enter a new contact. If you would like to import a list of contacts, please see “How to Import a List of Contacts”

  1. Navigate to Directory on the left hand menu and on the dropdown menu choose Basic Contact, Broker, Vendor, Employee or Area Rep User.
  2. This will open the current list of contacts in FranchiseSoft for that contact type. In the top right-hand corner click the green button “add new”
  3. A new contact screen will appear. Please note the following details may be mandatory (they are marked with an asterisk):
    first name,
    last name,
    email,
    phone, and
    time zone


  1. Complete entering data for this contact.
  2. At the bottom of the screen click “Save and Next” to go to the additional details tab and or the custom details tab
    OR
    Click “Save & Close” to close this contact
